A Rare Georgian Silver and Mother of Pearl Caddy Spoon.

Description

A rare example of a Georgian silver caddy spoon, with a mother-of-pearl handle. This elegant piece has a long slender shank and a 'shovel' bowl, fully hallmarked and made by the great Samuel Penbeton.

An excellent collector's item, both decorative and useable.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits, dents or cracks.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable.

Maker :- Samuel Penbeton.

Length :- 12.5 cms.

Bowl width :- 3.75 cms. (widest point).
