An Extremely Rare Edwardian Silver Pincushion Trinket Box.

An extremely rare item. This is a superb silver lidded trinket box, set with a swan pincushion. The lid is hallmarked silver with floral decorated edges and the interior is gilded. The swan pincushion has a replacement pad and has matching hallmarks. The body is cut glass and of rectangular form. This is a most desirable item, both for collectors of pincushions and trinket boxes.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, holes or splits to the silver and no chips or cracks to the glass. The pincushion pad has been replaced.

Maker :- Boots Pure Drug Co.

Hallmarks :- Full clear set to the lid and full clear, corresponding set to the pincushion.

Length :- 8 cms.

Width :- 3.5 cms.

Height :- 5.5 cms. (to top of swan).

The swan is 3.5 cms in length (to end of tail).
