Description

A lovely example os a Rococo Victorian silver photo frame. This good example has pierced floral and foliar detail and a vacant cartouche. It is of easel form and has the original velvet backing. A good, useable gift idea.

Condition :- Very good with no losses or breaks. It has a couple of minor bumps to the cartouche. The velvet backing is faded and worn, as is the silk interior, commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable, loss to the Maker's mark.

Width :- 21.75 cms.

Height :- 14.5 cms.

Available photo dimensions :- 17.5 cms x 10.5 cms.

Jeff Sims Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
