18th Century Antique Pierman Iron Candle Holder and Rush Light.

This early Georgian antique candle holder is probably from the Scottish/English borders, it is floor standing and is in very good working condtion being fully adjustable.

This primitive form of Georgian antique lighting has two options for the light source.

A candle holder on one side and a rush nip holder on the other.

This is quite a sophisticated for of primitive lighting for the period.

Now available to view in our Clitheroe, antiques showroom.
