Description

Interesting, Victorian period carved dark walnut ladies bureau.

Having heavily carved upper section, with twin opening front doors, revealing shelf interior and two opening storage drawers.

Writing surface with lift up lid, revealing desk storage space. Outer writing surface having a brushed cotton style surface. Large original, stylish metal hinges. Left hand hinge has break in metal.

Lower front opening drawer with carved front. Two original metal locking keys available.

Raised on tall carved legs, with lower joining stretchers with central carved figurehead.

A very unusual small piece of Continental carved furniture. Circa 1880
