A charming late Regency mahogany stool with original needlework cover. The stool stands on turned and tapered legs With a square overstuffed seat. The needlework upholstery is the original and in excellent condition, worked in wools in both grosse pointe and petit pointe in a Greek key and anthemion design around the edge and with a floral garland to the top. The whole is in untouched country house condition, with no breaks and only slight wear to the seat.
