French Ormolu Lamp of Fine Quality

An early 20thc French ormolu lamp of very fine quality, stamped with 'Paris Lacarriere Elatour & Co'.

The top of the lamp base consists of an acanthus leaf design leading down to a bowl shaped section with designs of scallop shells & fine decoration.

The base has various decoration of acanthus, scallop shells & of female faces.

The base is of square form with various decoration & four dolphins on each corner.

Although this lamp is in working order, I would recommend that the purchaser has it checked by a qualified electrician before use.

This is shown with a black damask style shade which can be included.
