Description

A handsome example of a hallmarked silver pepper caster, with a bayonet fitted lid. The body is of traditional baluster shape, on a plinth foot. The lid has attractive floral piercing and a steeple finial. A useful and decorative item.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Full marks to body and corresponding part marks to lid.

Maker :- Willson & Gill of Regent Street, London.

Base diameter :- 4.5 cms.

Height :- 10.75 cms. (highest point).
