Birmingham 1931 Unusual Solid Silver Dog World Engraved Spoon.

Description

Birmingham 1931 English hallmarked solid silver heavy gauged coffee or tea sized spoon with "Dog World" engraved to the tear drop shaped bowl.

The finial features a seal topped design.

Made by Alexander Clarke and company.

This was from a private collection of dog related silver, and was probably a prize in a dog show at the time.

Size-4 1/16 inches long by 1 inch wide.

Weight-15 grams.

An unusual spoon for the collector of dog related items, a spoon collector, or those who drink tea and coffee or enjoy soft boiled eggs.

In very good condition.

Sold separately, the last photo shows two available "Dog World" spoons, if more than one is desired.
