Description

A wonderful and very useful desk-top accessory, this English letter openers has one of the most delightful handles, made from sterling silver with a central panel decorated in a mint green guilloche enamel showcasing the intricate engine turned decoration below; this green panel is framed with a solid white enamel line.

The blade too is made from sterling silver with intricate engraved decoration to the front. The blade and handle are joined with a highly decorative ferrule.

Th blade is where the hallmark can be found for Sheffield 1904. Excellent condition, measuring 8 3/8" in length.
