Silver Crowned Cut Glass Shaker - Chester, England - 1738

A very pleasing sterling silver & cut glass shaker from the English early Georgian period - dating 1738.

The piece stands at just over 5" tall.

The piece is stamped as originating from the Chester locality. The individual makers mark is indistinguishable.

The glass body is presented in exceptional condition and is free of any damage or chipping of any kind. It displays a very attractive shape and craftsmanship.

The silver top has small dings to the outer rim as seen in the photographs, however the main trumpet is in perfect order as is the splendid finial.

A lovely table accessory and collectors piece.
