Sheffield 1898 Solid Silver Pair of Victorian Dwarf Candlesticks by Famous Makers Walker and Hall.

Description

Sheffield 1898 fine English hallmarked solid silver pair of Victorian dwarf candlesticks in an unusual and lovely wrythen pattern.

The lovely swirled pattern continues from the top through the square stepped bases, which are united by a turned central section. The useful size allows the use of candles of any height.

Made by Walker and Hall, famous makers known for their excellent quality. They are fully hallmarked with sterling silver hallmarks as well as manufacturer marks to the bases.

Size-Approximately 3.25 inches square by 5 inches high.

Weight-565 grams for shipping.

These elegant candlesticks have been professionally polished and are all ready to present.

With just some tiny marks to some base edges, these very pretty candlesticks are in very good condition overall.

It is unusual to find Victorian examples like these and in this form.
