Huge Art Deco Silver Inkwell.

1920 - 1940
Description

Silver inkwell in Art Deco Capstan style; this huge circular inkwell is sufficiently large and imposing to also be described as an ink stand! Typical of the period, it even has it's original Gadeware bakelite inkpot. The plain border has two pen rests and the hinged lid is uninscribed, as is the rest of the piece. One or two acceptable nibbles to the border, but very presentable and enjoyable.

Birmingham. 1932. Maker untraced.
