Sheffield 1882 Really Lovely and Beautifully Designed Victorian Solid Silver Engraved Back Spoon Made by Edward Hutton.

Description

Sheffield 1882 English hallmarked beautifully engraved solid silver spoon with double struck engraved stem and wonderful engraving on the back of the bowl having very sharp and unusual laurel leaf and foliate engraved bright cut and matt design, surrounded by a plain edge border.

Made by Edward Hutton, famous maker and clearly hallmarked with the Queen Victoria head duty mark.

A really special oversized teaspoon sized spoon, with excellent quality, and heavy gauge. It appears to have had little use in its life.

Size-5 7/8 inches long by 1.25 inches wide.

Weight-29 grams.

This would make a wonderful gift, or a great treat for yourself.
