A stunning example of an Edwardian combined baby rattle with exquisite repousse decoration with four bells and the whistle in perfect working order.

The handle is made from bright and iridescent Mother of Pearl shell with a lovely glossy patina.

The silver is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1901 together with the makers mark H&T for the silversmith, Hilliard & Thomason.

A highly collectible and sought-after heirloom to be handed through the generations. 4 3/4" in length.
