Description

A good sized English Edwardian Jewelry box with a footprint measuring 4 1/2" x 2 3/4" and standing 1 7/8" tall to the top of the domed lid.

This exceptional box stands on it's four original silver bun feet and bears the English hallmark for Birmingham 1909. The maker's initials are also present T Bs & P for the silversmith, Thomas Bros & Packer.

The lid is quite clearly the outstanding feature with a large domed s scroll-shaped cartouche surrounded by repousse floral and foliate motifs.

The interior retains it's original lining with a fitted platform for five rings.

One of the best I have had in some time, in excellent condition.
