Description

A delightful oval sterling silver jewellery or ring box standing on four pretty cabriole legs.

The lid fits well and the hinge in perfect working order. Once opened the interior reveals a blue silk lining.

The lid has a beautiful embossed or repousse Iris motif, most unusual and highly decorative.

The underside has a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1905, Edwardian in era, the makers initials HM are also present for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.

The lid measures 2 3/8" x 1 7/8" x 1 3/8" tall.
