Small English Sterling Silver & Pink Guilloche Enamel Box - 1927

Description

Always wonderful to find these little sterling boxes with enameled lids, this one in probably the most sought-after colour, Pink. The pink reads slightly darker in the photographs than it is in person.

A good gauge of silver was used to create the box, and the lid beautifully decorated with the glorious panel of enamel, over a pretty engine turned design beneath.

The box is hallmarked for Birmingham 1927, together with the makers initials H&A for the silversmith, Horton & Allday.

Superb condition with a lid diameter measuring 1 5/8" x 5/8" tall to top of domed lid.
