A fabulously large and very romantic Victorian sterling silver box in a heart shape measuring 3 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 1 1/2".

The hinged lid fits well and has a delightful reopousse single winged Cherub or Putti figure to the lid, set amongst the clouds.

Hallmarked for Sheffield 1898, the box remains in excellent condition, weighing 2.9 Troy Ounces or 90.1 Grams.
