Description

An absolutely sensational and highly decorative complete boxed set of twelve fruit or desert knives and forks by the Sheffield Silversmith, ROBERT FEAD MOSLEY.

Unusually the the knives and forks are fitted into two tiers, the forks below the knives.

Each knife and fork is in beautiful condition with wonderful carved iridescent Mother or Pearl handles, silver plated blades and tines and the highly decorative ferrules; the kind we (and our clients) are always in search of.

This set comes with it's original Mahogany presentation box (crack to lid) with the most sensational Duck Egg blue original interior, lined in silk and velvet and quite sensational.

Dating to around 1900 the set remains in superb condition. The box measures 12" x 9 1/4"; the knife measures 7 3/4" and the fork, 6 1/4" in length.
