Set Six Antique Sterling Silver Handled Desert / Cake / Pastry Forks - 1904

Description

A stunning set of desert forks, perfect for cakes, pastries or fruit, as useful today as 100 years ago.

The handles are made from English sterling silver each hallmarked for Sheffield 1904. The makers initials are also present, I E & S, I believe for the silversmith's, John & Edward Edwards.

They have a definite Art Nouveau flavour, with the swirled fluting to both the top of the handle and the terminals.

They come complete with their presentation box, lined in blue velvet and cream silk.

Excellent condition, each fork measuring 6 1/4" long; the box measuring 7 5/8" x 6 1/8".
