Pair of Ornate Silver Plated Picture Frames

1900 - 1920
Description

Late 19th or early 20th Century highly embellished silver plated frames with flowers and petals at each corner, foliate leaves and vines along the borders and a pair of standing lions at the base.

They can be hung on the wall or stood up on the lions against a wall. They could quite easily be turned into mirrors, the back panels are screwed into the frames, hence the whole structure is very solid.

In very good original condition, there is a leaf missing from one of the corners.

Height - 13" (33cms)

Width - 9" (23cms)
