Very Large, Heavy Early Victorian Swing Handled Silver Fruit Basket 1841 Bernard

Description

Absolutely superb substantial silver fruit basket dating to early Victorian era. Standing afoot a large round pedastal base, the bowl is ornately pierced to the outer and plain to the inner. The swing handle has a foliate scrolling design. This large fruit bowl is of very heavy guage silver and is a quality item.

Condition overall is excellent with no dents or dings, though has a small silver loss as in picture 5 - hence price.
