Description

Pretty as a picture, this elegant little Jewellery Box is made from English sterling silver, hallmarked for Birmingham 1909, Edwardian in era. The makers initials are also present A & J Z for A&J Zimmerman.

The hinged lid is beautifully decorated, engraved with a ribbon & bow topping a floral and foliate garland. The interior is lined with a combination of blue velvet on the base and pleated Navy silk to the sides, the inside of the lid is lavishly gilded.

Standing on three pretty feet, the box remains in excellent condition, measuring 2 3/8" $in diameter across the lid x 1 5/8" tall.
