Lovely Sheffield 1905 Solid Silver Unusual Shaped Flower Vase.

Description

Sheffield 1905 English hallmarked solid silver unusual flower vase with generous rim, octagonal inward curving lobes and raised ribs, standing on a circular pedestal foot.

Made by Marples and Co., a subsidiary of Martin Hall and Co.

This unusually styled and well crafted vase is a classic example of the Edwardian period, and is in very good condition with just some light surface scratching to the inner rim from thorns.

Size-6 7/8 inches high by 2 5/8 diameter.

Weight-generous at 125 grams.

A lovely piece to own or to give as a gift. It would look wonderful alone or added to a grouping of other silver vases.
