London 1899 Victorian Solid Silver Pair of Hair Brushes.

Description

London 1899 English hallmarked solid silver pair of repousse hair brushes with wonderful foliate pattern including birds and dragonflies. The matt ground with the polished repousse decoration is striking.

Made by Mappin Brothers, excellent makers.

Size-9.75 inches long by 3 inches wide by 2 inches high.

Weight for shipping-310 grams before packing.

With a central cartouche bearing the original owners initials, these are a lovely pair to display on the dressing table.

In very good condition.
