London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
Exceptional Pottery Floor Lamp - Cranberry & Gold - c1900
This Burmantofts style standard lamp is superbly presented.
The lamp is in excellent order with undamaged china throughout.
The lamp benefits from a standard lamp fitting, which accepts the most common bayonet type household bulb, and has a regular lamp shade frame attachment.
The small size yet heavy base ensures that the lamp remains stable but does not eat up floor space and does allow the lamp to be positioned very close to the edge of another item of furniture.
The lamp is complete with original shade. All standard shades will fit the piece.
The lamp is supplied with a generous length cable and plug ready to use.
Overall this piece of furniture is in exceptional condition with fine colour. An excellent and unusual antique, beautifully detailed and very desirable.
