Description

Birmingham 1887 English hallmarked solid silver Victorian globular shaped scent bottle with a beautifully chased foliate and leafy design crafted in both matt and polished silver for a lovely effect, reminiscent of Asian design.

Made by Henry Charles Freeman of Hatton Garden, London.

This shape scent bottle is more often found in a combination of silver and glass. This ornate all silver example is finely detailed, including the screw fit top, and the bottom, all echoing the foliate leaf and petal theme.

Size-2.25 inches high by 2 3/8 inches diameter

Weight-50 grams.

In very good condition, this would make a lovely addition to a collection, or a fine gift for a special occasion.
