Birmingham 1901 Solid Silver Lovely Engraved Solid Silver Card Case.

Description

Birmingham 1901 English hallmarked solid silver hinged top card case with shaped edges and a beautiful bright cut foliate and scroll engraved design. A fine early Edwardian example, right on the cusp of Victorian and Edwardian design, purchased as part of a private card case collection.

Make by Jones and Crompton.

Weight-heavy at 80 grams.

Size-3 7/8 inches long by 2.75 inches wide.

This card case will hold business cards, calling cards, and credit cards. It is a fine piece for a collection of novelty silver, or would make a great gift for an important occasion.

In very good condition.
