Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

George II silver sauce boats, crafted between 1727 and 1760, are characteristically designed with a flared pouring spout, a curved scroll handle, and a body supported by three cast feet.

These pieces were hand-raised from sterling silver sheet, featuring separately cast scroll handles and pad feet that were silver-soldered to the main body.

Authentic mid-18th-century British silver features a complete set of struck hallmarks, including the makers mark, the lion passant for sterling purity, the town mark, and the corresponding date letter.

An antique silver sauce boat can be styled as a decorative accent on a dining sideboard, integrated into a contemporary table setting, or used as a vessel for small floral displays.

Polish gently with a soft microfibre cloth and a specialised, non-abrasive silver cream, avoiding harsh chemical dips that can strip engraved details or remove natural oxidisation in carved recessed areas.
