A Superb Georg Jensen Art Deco Silver Pendant Necklace

A fabulous Georg Jensen silver pendant necklace dating from the 1940s. This superb piece has Danish hallmarks and was designed by Arno Malinowski (design number 97, dating 1933-44). The openwork body is heart shaped and features an ascending bird with leaf fronds. This lovely Art Deco design has a number of variations by Malinowski and this is one of the more unusual examples. The pendant comes with the original 'paperclip' silver chain, secured with a T bar.
