Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

This set of three Victorian kitchenware items comprises copper jelly moulds in distinct decorative designs. Each piece exhibits a warm metallic copper hue with visible verdigris patination around the joints and recesses, alongside handwritten paper labels marked A, B, and C placed beside them on a textured white surface. Mould A features vertical fluting with a twisted rope-style band encircling the base. Mould B displays architectural pointed arches beneath fluted domes, while mould C incorporates dynamic spiral fluting radiating towards the top. Measuring up to 15 cm in height and 14 cm in diameter, these Victorian copper vessels suit placement atop a dining room sideboard or within a country kitchen display. They bring an authentic rustic farmhouse aesthetic to open shelving arrangements or traditional culinary collections, integrating easily into period interiors without requiring modern modifications.

During the nineteenth century, copper jelly moulds were widely used in British households to create shaped jellies, aspics, and desserts as dining table centrepieces.

These moulds were typically constructed from sheet copper with a tin lining on the interior surface to prevent reaction between raw metal and acidic food ingredients.

Authentic period examples often exhibit dovetailed side seams, stamped registration marks or pattern numbers, heavy gauge copper construction, and signs of hand-hammering.

They can be arranged on open kitchen shelving, placed on top of a sideboard, or mounted together on a dining room accent wall to add warmth and metallic texture.

Clean the exterior using a dedicated copper polish applied with a soft cloth, avoiding abrasive scrubbing pads to prevent scratching the metallic surface.
