A pretty antique drop brooch in slightly rosy nine-carat gold set with lovely vivid purple amethyst. The design shows both Celtic and Art Nouveau influences, with lovely curving arabesques and an endless knot motif. Made by Deakin & Francis, a longstanding English family luxury jewellery business founded in 1786. Comes with the silk- and velvet-lined antique case pictured.

SIZE:  Approximately 3.9 x 2.7cm.

WEIGHT (without box): 3.4g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat gold, amethyst.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Marked 9CT and stamped with the sponsor's mark D&F.

CONDITION: In excellent antique condition.
