Description

A good example of a set of 6 antique butter knives with sterling silver handles and silver plated blades. They are good quality pieces with nicely shaped handles and decorative shell motifs.

Each piece is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, 1923 and the maker Harrison Fisher & Co.

They are in very good condition for their age. The handles have a few minor dents and dinks on and there is some minor wear around the edges of the blades however they display well as a set. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.

The set comes in its original fitted box with a velvet and silk interior. The box is generally clean and tidy inside with some minor staining and wear to the silk bands on the hinges. The exterior is slightly warped on one corner and there are some light scuffs and marks around the edges but overall it displays well.
