In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
It has a fitted brown leather lining with three sections.
The hallmark is slightly rubbed but it can be read as Birmingham, 1909 and the maker William Oliver. It weighs approximately 50g.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some signs of age and use and some small dinks and light surface marks but nothing detrimental and no major damages. The interior is clean and tidy. It has been cleaned and gently polished and overall it displays very well.
