Antique 18th century rustic Georgian bureau in oak, a charming period piece with an abundance of character and an intriguing interior.

Standing on traditional bracket feet, the bureau features four drawers to the front, with two large drawers below and two smaller above, each finished with decorative brass handles.

Opening the bureau reveals a fitted interior with numerous storage compartments, providing an organised space for letters, stationery and personal items. Tucked within is a fascinating hidden well, cleverly concealed within the design and adding an unusual and desirable feature to the piece.

The oak has a gorgeous grain and rich, warm colour, beautifully suited to the bureau’s rustic Georgian appearance.

Its combination of concealed storage, practical drawers and period charm makes this a particularly appealing example.
