Description

An Edwardian silver photo frame with clear hallmarks for Sheffield 1908 and makers mark for Joseph Rodgers & Sons Ltd. This sizeable silver frame is made of thick silver generously applied in a triple stepped frame and folded around the 1.5cm edges. It is embellished also with a silver ribbon top. It is lined with the original navy damask and stands on the original velvet on wood easel back, though the velvet is worn. The silver frame is in excellent condition and though the back is worn, it is original and authentic and provides a strong solid support.
