Antique Suffragette Peridot Pearl and Amethyst 15ct Gold Pendant

Description

This breathtaking original antique peridot, pearl, and amethyst pendant, modelled in 15ct gold, represents the suffragette movement.

This rare pendant displays two pearl flowers on either side, surrounding a central square-cut amethyst. The pendant also features a round-cut peridot drop at the bottom, with flowers, leaves, and swirling goldwork all around the pendant.

Suffragettes took to their jewellery to display their involvement in the movement, and it became instantly recognisable by the colours of Purple, White and Green. The Green represented hope, the White represented purity, and the Purple represented dignity.

The stones in this piece are of superb quality. They add colour and interest, making it a real conversation starter.

This rare quality piece would make a great gift or a superb addition to any collection.
