Antique Victorian 9ct Rose Gold Double Fronted Locket

Description

Antique Victorian double fronted square shape locket, the locket is crafted in 9ct back and front rose gold, a warm red gold in colour, with fine engraving to both sides, exquisitely engraved with a "forget me not" flower and ivy leaves to a clear heart cartouch to the middle, the second side has a further "forget me not" and trailing Ivy with engraved vines and leaves, the locket dates around 1890s, measures 35 mm with bale x 21 mm, the locket is in very good condition, no dents, splits or repairs, opens and closes good, still with original frames, Iight signs of use, tests 9ct back and front, the weight is a good 3.44 grams, super quality locket, comes in a luxury box.
