Antique 1.00 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1905

Description

A striking Edwardian diamond ring. The nicely elongated natural old mine cut diamond in the centre - graded by IGI as L colour, VVS2 clarity - is incredibly bright, internally clean, and displays a slight internal warmth. The diamond is secured by four sets of double claws, with pretty detailing in the gallery, leading to a slender 18k yellow gold shank with ribbed details in the shoulders.

Accompanied by a Diamond Report from IGI.

Cut:  Old mine cut.

Colour:  L.

Clarity:  VVS2.

Carat:  1.00.

Circa:  1905.

Size:  L (UK) or 5 1/2 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  The diamond is 6.60 x 5.49mm. Sits 5.4mm from the finger.

Weight:  2.33 grams.

Metal:  18k yellow gold. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
