Absolutely Stunning Iron and Brass French King Size Bed

Description

Another stunning French classic iron and brass bed. The brass formation on the foot end is simply particularly gorgeous with three circular central brass details with very nice rod ends to mount the connecting ironwork, all original brass that we have cleaned and highlighted. The lovely Clover shaped castings and clamps are all in good detail and condition.

Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned, restored and tested for durability. All joints checked for secure fit. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Lamp Black, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All of our beds can be re-painted in any colour of your choosing. Suitable for standard King Size mattress 5’ x 6’6” / 150cm x 200cm

The bed is photographed on a 2” bed base with our Chartres mattress. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections. Please see our web site or email for specifications and prices.

We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
