Description

Superbly attractive French king size all brass bed with super individuality in the decorative brass rings along the head and foot board and the knobs and collars detail.

Original porcelain castors. Naturally aged brass gives a lovely patina. This has all been hand cleaned to highlight.

Side rails have been adapted to support wood slats and central support added for modern size and weight mattress 6' x 6'6"/180cm x 200cm.

As an alternative to wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support or to raise get into bed height either 2" deep with a platform top (as used for photograph). Or 4" deep with a firm or sprung top. We can also supply handmade mattresses in all comfort choices as a whole or as two mattresses zipped with different tensions.
