Gorgeous American Style Double Bed

Description

This absolutely stunning bed is indicative of American antique beds of the era, with nice sturdy castings which are brimming with detail. The shaping of the frame is particularly attractive with posts which curve to create the lovely shape on the head and foot. The castings are connected by reed strip ironwork which mirrors the very attractive shaping to the frame.

Whole frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish using Little Greene’s Spanish Brown peeking through Little Greene’s Cremerie, painted to pay homage to the shabby chic worn paint finish so often seen on American style beds. The finish has been waxed over to protect and give a soft shine.
