Antique Georgian Green Paste Cluster 9ct Gold and Silver Ring

Description

This rare Antique Paste cluster ring features many black dot paste stones encircling a green emerald-cut paste stone at the centre, set into a decorative Silver panel, on a 9ct Gold band.

The halo features ten paste stones, plus three on each shoulder, arranged on a closed and curved back. The paste stones are cut to imitate old European-cut diamonds.

This antique paste cluster ring is in good condition considering its age. While the stones show some surface wear and one stone is chipped on close inspection, they are secure in their settings. The stones show some discolouration due to age; please see the pictures. Overall, this ring would make an excellent addition to any antique jewellery collection.
