A wonderful antique brooch featuring lily of the valley flowers set against a rich cobalt blue glass background. The central botanical design is encrusted with twinkling old-cut pastes and surrounded by a paste-set border formed of tiny leaves.

SIZE: 4.5 x 2cm.

WEIGHT: 10.3g.

MATERIALS: Silver - tests as 925 sterling.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None.

CONDITION: The brooch is in very good antique condition, see photos; there is a hairline crack on the right side of the glass but it's almost impossible to spot unless you're actively looking for it under magnification.

ERA: Estimated late Victorian/Edwardian (c.l890-1910s).
