Description

A late 19th Century Victorian / Early Edwardian NOVELTY brass Vesta case Match holder in the form of a CARP KOI FISH c1890-1910.

Made using stamped sheet brass, the body is intricately modded to display finely detailed scales, facial features and pronounced fins.

Opens and shuts from the head. Great piece of collectable Tobacciana.

Measuring 4.5 cm x 2.5 cm and weighs 15 grams.

In very good antique condition. Opens and shuts well, the exterior showing honest historic wear to the plating from decades of use and handling.
