An unmarked 19th century silver (tested) Brandy decanter label. This label is illustrated in Wine Labels by E W Whitworth on page 25 “classified as miscellaneous unmarked possibly Chinese”. This book is from the series Collectors Pieces no 8. Great condition.

The piece takes a curved form featuring bird motifs with textured plumage at each end and the word "BRANDY" centrally engraved within a patterned cartouche, suspended from a dark link chain.
