In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1910s.
It has a large bulbous weighted base and it comes with a small white ceramic liner.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1911 and the maker William Comyns.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages, just some faint surface marks, a few light scratches and minor dinks but nothing detrimental. There are some small splits around the base but overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
