Vintage 0.50 Carat Emerald Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1940

Description

A beautifully crafted vintage engagement ring set with a glowingly bright emerald cut diamond between two baguette cut diamond shoulders. The crisp, geometric arrangement of the three stone gives this ring its late Art Deco character, with the finely pierced gallery and a slim, restrained 14k white gold shank characteristic of this era.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut:  Emerald cut diamond in the centre, with baguette cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Colour:  All three diamonds are G.

Clarity:  All three diamonds are VS2.

Carat:  The centre is approximately 0.50 carat, with a further approximate 0.10 carat in the shoulders.

Circa:  1940.

Size:  J (UK) or 4 5/8 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  The diamond is approximately 5.5 x 4.0mm and sits 5.6mm from the finger.

Weight:  2.02 grams.

Metal:  Stamped 14k - indicating 14k white gold - and tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer to confirm.
