Antique 0.55 Carat Emerald & Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1915

Description

A lovely antique emerald and diamond cluster ring. The vivid green emerald in the centre is claw set in platinum, and surround by fourteen old cut diamonds in scalloped, milgrained settings. The cluster is mounted in platinum over 18k yellow gold, with delicate pierced detailing in the gallery.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut:  Baguette cut emeralds and old cut diamonds.

Colour:  The diamonds range between H and I.

Clarity:  The emerald has visible inclusions (jardin), which is normal and expected of emeralds. The diamonds are SI1.

Carat:  The emerald is approximately 0.55 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.15 carat.

Circa:  1915.

Size:  M 1/2 (UK) or 6 1/4 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  The emerald is 5.77 x 4.40mm. The head of the ring is 11.5 x 10.8mm and sits 5.5mm from the finger.

Weight:  3.28 grams.

Metal:  Stamped 18CT PLAT - 18k yellow gold and platinum - and tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer to confirm.
